Located in North County San Diego along the Coast Highway between Del Mar and La Jolla, Torrey Pines State Park is the home of America's rarest pine tree variety. The park includes Torrey Pines State Beach which is a light hike descending from the parking area and interpretive center. Because there are so many free beautiful beaches in the region, the entrance fee keeps this relatively quiet and pristine.
